Lake Panorama
...is the largest private lake development in Iowa - with over 1,160 acres of lake surface and 30 miles of shoreline. Lake Panorama was officially formed in 1970 (after years of planning) when the Middle Raccoon River was dammed just outside of Panora. Many of the 1,100 lake residents and their use the lake for recreation and fishing (stocked with crappie, walleye, bass, and more) - and guest passes can be applied for through the Lake Association.

Middle Raccoon River
..was first documented on the 1814 Lewis and Clark map. It continuously makes lists as one of the best navigable rivers in Iowa for beginner and intermediate paddlers. After the spring sediment clears, the water is clear enough to see riverbed and the smallmouth that fill that deeper pockets. The fishing is great and paddling is superb!
We offer kayak rentals and have multiple shuttle locations from Lenon Mill Park to the Redwood Dam.
